In Khashuri, a man returning home from work found his 9-year-old child dead and his wife unconscious. According to Interpressnews, the woman has been taken to the hospital in a comatose condition.

Family members say there were no signs of violence on either the mother or the child.

At this stage, one unofficial version being considered is intoxication. As for gas poisoning, neighbors say representatives of the relevant service have already inspected the area, and no gas or CO leakage was detected.

As the Ministry of Internal Affairs told Interpressnews, an investigation has been launched under Article 116 of the Criminal Code, which refers to causing death by negligence.
