Tamar Chergoleishvili: Opposition parties, let’s launch a campaign to boycott the local self-government elections

One of the leaders of the “Federalist” party, Tamar Chergoleishvili, is proposing to opposition parties to launch a campaign to abstain from participating in the local self-government elections. Chergoleishvili made this statement on social media.

"Opposition parties, I haven’t discussed this with the party or even with Giga (though I think they’ll like the idea), and I’m simply offering the following:

Let’s jointly run a campaign around the local self-government elections.

But let this campaign be one of non-participation in the local elections, and let it be dedicated to convincing our fellow citizens of the necessity of regime change.

Let’s run another campaign — about national projects that would follow regime change.

I’ll put on iron hooves and move around like a motorized goat — if this can be made to happen," Chergoleishvili writes.
