Gia Volski: Sanchez is a naive, superficial, and lightweight person - His statement is even more foolish - There is no such naive person among the so-called sanctioned individuals who would turn to Amor or European parliamentarians to resolve this issue

Georgia’s First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Gia Volski, commented on a statement by European Parliament member Nacho Sanchez Amor, who claimed that sanctioned individuals are contacting the EU with questions about how to be removed from the sanctions list.

Volski called the European parliamentarian’s statement “foolish,” noting that no such naive person exists among the so-called sanctioned individuals who would call Nacho Sanchez Amor or other European parliamentarians to request help in resolving this matter.

“This statement is naive. I know Sanchez well, and he himself is such a naive, superficial, and lightweight person. I wouldn’t say he is a serious figure who influences politics. He is an ordinary person driven by conjunctural demands, a social democrat who only has his own opinions when it comes to the distribution of positions between the People’s Party and the Socialists. In any case, that’s how I knew him, and of course, his statement in this case is even more foolish. I can’t give it any other assessment because there is no such naive person among the so-called sanctioned individuals who would turn to Amor or European parliamentarians in general to resolve this problem,” Volski stated.
