The ongoing reorganizations in various agencies aim to punish those who publicly express their position and loyalty to Georgia’s European integration, the party “Gakharia for Georgia” wrote on Facebook.
According to the party, the reorganization in the Ministry of Education is intended to punish public officials who remain loyal to Article 78 of the Constitution.
“As a result of the reorganization in the Ministry of Education, Science, and Youth of Georgia, the Inclusive Development Department and the Preschool Education Department are being abolished. This reorganization, along with prior processes in the ministry, is aimed solely at dismissing public officials who developed or signed a petition expressing loyalty to Article 78 of the Georgian Constitution. The de facto abolition of these two departments (technically merged with other departments) was intended to facilitate the dismissal of specific individuals.
This fact once again demonstrates that the reorganizations in various agencies are aimed at punishing those who publicly express their position and loyalty to Georgia’s European integration.
Our team will provide the public with additional information about the processes in the Ministry of Education in the coming days,” the party’s statement reads.
