According to the so-called Foreign Minister of occupied Abkhazia, over 70 individuals from Abkhazia fighting on Russia’s side in Ukraine have died

“During the special military operation, more than 70 citizens of Abkhazia fighting alongside Russia have died,” stated Oleg Bartsits, the so-called Foreign Minister of occupied Abkhazia, in an interview with Russian media.

“Today, as Russia wages an existential battle against global evil, small Abkhazia stands by its side not only in words but also in deeds. For example, volunteers from Abkhazia are fighting in the special military operation zone. Unfortunately, we have already lost more than 70 of our boys,” Bartsits noted.

According to him, “volunteers, journalists, and medics from Abkhazia, who assist the wounded, are working in the so-called special operation zone.” Bartsits also mentioned that he himself had been in the “special military operation zone” on a humanitarian mission.
