Beka Liluashvili: If the parties are able to reach an agreement regarding participation in the elections, we will be glad – we will definitely join the discussion about neutral mayoral candidates

“If the parties are able to reach an agreement regarding participation in the elections, we will be glad – we will definitely join the discussion about neutral mayoral candidates,” said Beka Liluashvili, a representative of the party For Georgia.

According to him, if opposition parties manage to reach an agreement on participating in the local elections, it will be “a correct and responsible decision.”

“We have already passed the stage of debating whether or not to participate in the elections. Our position on participation has been clear from day one. If the parties are able to reach an agreement regarding participation, we will be glad. It will be the right and responsible decision. We will definitely take part in discussions about neutral mayoral candidates. Our next goal is to select neutral candidates,” Liluashvili stated.
