Guram Macharashvili: The constant presence of the 'United National Movement' abroad, their begging there — 'Aunties, uncles, please help us, we can’t do anything back home and we are politically destroyed' — means that these people are focused on foreign powers

"It seems that even their foreign sponsors have serious doubts about the 'United National Movement' and its affiliates, because they are incapable of doing anything here anymore — they can no longer organize rallies, let alone a revolution, and they are no longer in Parliament," — said Guram Macharashvili, an MP from 'People’s Power', speaking to journalists.

According to him, the fact that the 'United National Movement' and its affiliates always seek legitimacy abroad proves that they are agents of foreign powers.

"Major rifts have already begun, and this will always be the case within the 'National Movement' and its branches. Their constant presence abroad, their begging — 'Aunties, uncles, please help us, we can’t do anything back there and we’re politically destroyed' — this clearly shows that these people are focused on foreign powers. What they’re saying is that they want to use the same tactics here, but it won’t work, because these foreign forces abroad and their agents here in Georgia have been fully exposed," Macharashvili stated.
