This information was confirmed to InterpressNews by the Chairman of the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Jemal Gamakharia.

For context, the previous Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, Levan Mgaloblishvili, resigned from his position on June 2.
