Kakha Kaladze, the General Secretary of "Georgian Dream" and Mayor of Tbilisi, made this statement in response to a question about insults in the public space. He emphasized that despite differing political views and opinions, it is unacceptable to insult or physically confront each other.
He stated, "We must be able to listen to each other’s opinions, even if we have different views."
"It is categorically unacceptable, what we hear and see. These are deliberate actions. We may have different political views and differing opinions on various issues, but that does not mean we should insult or physically confront each other. We must be able to listen to each other’s opinions, despite our differences. We must have respect for one another. No one is asking for love towards each other, but we must have respect as long as we are politicians," Kaladze declared.
