Andro Chichinadze: We remember very well how this court treated people under the previous government. Today, the fate of people still depends on the exact same names and surnames – but today, it is brave people who decide fate

This judicial system was created under the previous government. We remember very well how this system treated people back then. Instead of working on it and changing it, today people’s fate still depends on the exact same names and surnames,” – said actor Andro Chichinadze during his court hearing, who was arrested on charges of participating in group violence during the protests near Parliament.

He added that today depends on courage and brave individuals.

“As for the judicial system, which decides people’s fate – this system was created under the previous government. We remember very well how it treated people back then. Instead of working on this system and changing it, people’s fate still depends on the same names and surnames. That’s harmful for the state and, above all, for individuals. If the judiciary is not objective, then nothing will be objective, and the country will be in constant disorder. That’s why I believe that today, fate is decided by courageous people,” – said Andro Chichinadze.
