Giorgi Gakharia will have to come and answer questions once again - what, how did it happen and why did he make the decision that could have threatened our country and our fellow citizens living near the occupation zone with even more serious consequences, - Georgian Dream MP Davit Matikashvili stated when assessing Giorgi Gakharia's re-summoning to the investigative commission session.

According to him, when Gakharia was at the commission session for the first time, "we heard a big lie from him, that after the Chorchana incident, the occupation forces and the puppet regime had not seized any territories and that the opening of the checkpoint was a prevention of similar actions by the occupation forces."
