The Anti-Corruption Bureau has become a member of the board of the „Network of European Integrity and Whistleblowing Authorities“ (NEIWA)

From June 12-13 of the current year, the 10th General Assembly of the Network of European Integrity and Whistleblowing Authorities (NEIWA) was held in Brussels, Belgium.

NEIWA was established in 2019 and brings together state agencies working in integrity, transparency, and whistleblower protection. Its goal is to share experience, knowledge, and best practices among member countries. As an associate member of the European Union and an active participant in anti-corruption reforms, Georgia joined NEIWA in 2024. The Anti-Corruption Bureau of Georgia, formed in 2023, represents the country in this network and actively participates in international cooperation.

Within NEIWA, Georgia participates in joint declarations and initiatives shares its experience in implementing whistleblower protection mechanisms, and receives support in adopting European standards.

At the 10th Assembly, Georgia was elected to NEIWA's Management Board through a vote. Membership in the Management Board means that the respective agency or representative participates in the strategic management of the network and is responsible for coordinating NEIWA's activities, organizing meetings, and implementing common goals.
