Tea Tsulukiani pretends to be a lawyer, but behaves illegitimately, illegally, - the leader of Strategy Builder, Giorgi Vashadze, stated at today's hearing.
According to him, if Tea Tsulukiani accuses him of failing to comply with the request of the temporary investigative commission of parliament, it would be better if she asked questions dherself.
"This is exactly the essence of this case. If she has questions for me, she should have come here and asked. She is avoiding coming here. Unfortunately, you, Ms. Nino [judge], also contributed to the fact that Tea Tsulukiani did not come here. The case was initiated based on her letter. How could she not come here? I am saying exactly this, that she has no answers to give to the public," Vashadze stated.
According to him, his summons in connection with the case is politically motivated.
“This is not just a matter of formality. This is exactly the content with which I want to prove that the intention of this group, which calls itself the “Investigative Commission”, was political. It had nothing to do with the law. If they had any questions, they could have heard the answers to these questions here. I told them, come to Rustaveli, we could have talked there too because the issue of my so-called summons was related to my activities. Therefore, we not only look at the formal part of the accusation, we look at the general, the entire content, why all this is happening, why I am here in court. Why they are using the prosecutor's office for political justice,” Vashadze said.
