We stand firmly with independent media and urge to stop systematic assault on democratic institutions and fundamental rights, reads the statement issued by the European Union Delegation to Georgia.

Along with the statement, the EU Delegation is also releasing a photo of the meeting between EU Ambassador Pawel Herczynski and Batumelebi Director Eter Turadze.

“Solidarity to Mzia Amaghlobeli and Batumelebi! We stand firmly with independent media and urge to stop systematic assault on democratic institutions and fundamental rights,” reads the statement.
