The State Security Service has arrested the former Deputy Minister of Economy, Romeo Mikautadze.

A briefing was held at the SSS regarding the matter.

According to the agency's explanation, “On the basis of a court ruling, R.M., the former Deputy Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, has been arrested on charges of abuse of official authority and legalization of millions of lari in illegal income.”
