Finnish Foreign Minister: The situation in Georgia is becoming increasingly difficult – the European Union stands with the Georgian people

“Unfortunately, the situation in Georgia is becoming increasingly difficult, especially for civil society and the country’s free people,” – said Finland’s Foreign Minister, Elina Valtonen, in response to a question from Euroscope editor Tamar Nutsubidze, ahead of the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Brussels.

“Europe always stands with the people and supports their desire for democracy and the country’s European path. Therefore, the European Union stands with the Georgian people,” the Finnish Foreign Minister stated.
