"Behind each detained person stand many people and a firm resolve not to reconcile with what is happening in the country. This is a clear and open move toward establishing a Russian model," said Dimitri Tskitishvili, a member of the "For Georgia" party, outside the office of "Lelo – Strong Georgia" after the detention of Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze, where he arrived with his teammates to support the detained leaders.
As Tskitishvili noted, a Russian regime cannot be established in the country as long as it is still possible to express protest.
"We have one main weapon in our hands: the truth, which is on our side. Those people no longer have either truth or strength, and this is their struggle with their own fears and complexes.
Behind each detained person stand many people and a firm resolve not to reconcile with what is happening in the country. This is a clear and open move toward establishing a Russian model. The fact is that all of this is being carried out as it has already been tested in several countries, with Russian special services standing behind it.
As long as we can still talk to each other, as long as we can still express protest, this regime cannot be established. Therefore, we must fight to the end as long as we are able," Tskitishvili stated.
