The leader of the Strategy Builder party, Giorgi Vashadze, has been arrested. After the court’s decision was pronounced, law enforcement officers arrived at the party’s office and handcuffed the politician right there.

The court found Giorgi Vashadze, the leader of the Strategy Builder party, guilty of failing to comply with the request of the temporary investigative commission of the Parliament. By the decision of Judge Nino Galustashvili, he was sentenced to 7 months in prison. In addition, he was banned from holding office for 2 years.

Giorgi Vashadze did not attend the pronouncement of the judgement.
