According to legislation, the Anti-Corruption Bureau is accountable to the Parliament of Georgia

The head of the Bureau, Razhden Kuprashvili, presented the Bureau’s activity report for the first time before the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Civil Integration, as well as the Legal Affairs Committee.

The report covered the Bureau’s activities, including the development of the Code of Ethics and Integrity for public officials, the establishment and protection of the whistleblower institution, the declaration of assets by public officials, the transparency of political and non-governmental organizations, and raising public awareness on corruption-related issues.

The head of the Bureau placed special emphasis on the Bureau’s role in the development of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy.

Following the presentation of the report, Razhden Kuprashvili answered questions from committee members and stressed that the Bureau will continue active cooperation with Parliament to ensure the sustainable development of Georgia as a democratic, transparent, and corruption-free state.
