Our soldiers, our ancestors, our heroes gave the ultimate sacrifice—their lives—so that today we are an independent, free, and strong nation, stated Mikheil Kavelashvili during his speech at the opening ceremony of the “Army Camp.”

He addressed the youth, congratulating them on starting their participation in this unique project.

“My dear, proud youth, I congratulate you on this day, the opening of the Army Camp, and the start of your participation in this truly unique project. First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to the representatives of the Ministries of Defense and Education, and to all those who have successfully implemented this project for the third year. My dear ones, you should know that this is a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the lifestyle of our Georgian army, our pride, and various aspects of military training. I am confident that this experience will stay with you throughout your life, and the energy you invest here will be exemplary. Above all, you should know that our army is an essential part of our small country, our brave nation, and our great history. As you know, our soldiers, our ancestors, our heroes gave the ultimate sacrifice—their lives—so that today we are an independent, free, and strong nation. This process continues, our army and our country are growing stronger, and I am confident that in the near future, we will become even stronger,” stated Mikheil Kavelashvili.
