Today, as the Prime Minister of Georgia presents a report on the implementation of the government program during the Parliament’s plenary session, the yellow level of security will be in effect in the Parliament building.

This information was released by the Parliament of Georgia.

According to the statement, no more than three accredited media groups per broadcaster will be allowed into the building until the end of the parliamentary events.

"On June 27 of this year, during the plenary session of the Parliament, the Prime Minister of Georgia will present a report on the progress of the government program’s implementation. In connection with this, according to the order N1/259/23 of the Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia dated September 4, 2023, 'On the Approval of Security Regulations in the Parliament Palace,' the yellow level of security will be enforced in the Parliament Palace on June 27 – visitor access to the Parliament building will be restricted.

Only persons invited by the relevant structural units will be allowed to attend the scheduled parliamentary events (including committee and plenary sessions).

No more than three accredited media groups per broadcaster will be allowed in the building until the parliamentary events conclude.

The aim of this measure is to ensure a safe and secure working environment in the Parliament Palace," the statement reads.
