Gia Volski: What Aleko Elisashvili is really good at is physical and political acrobatics! Sometimes he stands on his hands, sometimes on his ears, and I won’t even mention the other directions

What Aleko Elisashvili is really good at is acrobatics — both physical and political acrobatics! Sometimes he stands on his hands, sometimes on his ears, and I won’t even mention other directions, but the fact is he has managed to maintain his position in the political arena! — this is how the First Vice Speaker of Parliament, Gia Volski, responded to a question about Elisashvili’s statement on participating in local elections.

Volski also said that Elisashvili is trying to remain in the “Lelo” party through cunning.

"For a long time now, this person’s name has been circulating in the political space, as someone who apparently doesn’t know where to go, but the fact is he has maintained his position. He sometimes stands on his hands, sometimes on his ears, and I won’t mention other directions... In reality, he has managed to maintain himself in this political field.

He was listed 20th on the electoral list. He insulted Mamuka Khazaradze live on air, calling him a harmful person, a predator, and a fraud. He got the same insults back from Khazaradze and today doesn’t know how to please anyone or how to cunningly stay within “Lelo.”

Talking about Aleko Elisashvili is pointless because his principles wobble within what is called the so-called extremist opposition coalition,” said Gia Volski.

Aleko Elisashvili, a member of the coalition “Strong Georgia,” supports the opposition’s participation in the 2025 local elections.

"I was in turmoil... After they put handcuffs on Badri Japaridze and Mamuka Khazaradze, my hesitation ended.

I am of the opinion that we should enter even this, possibly lost battle, and fight hard... We can set the process in motion, we can move the process forward, and we can win Tbilisi and the big cities,” Elisashvili said on the TV First broadcast.
