According to him, the two main demands of the coalition, new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners, remain unchanged. Kupradze called on the population to participate in the protest rally planned for Sunday, June 29.
“We continue to fight with the main demands. These are new parliamentary elections and the release of political prisoners. We will use all means and opportunities to achieve our main goal. Two leaders of our party are in prison. Despite this, not a single step back! We continue to fight and resist. In Tbilisi, we continue the protest and fight for political prisoners. Tomorrow, June 29, a protest march will be held for all political prisoners and to show our international partners and fellow citizens who are silent that the fight will not stop. All our steps will be directed towards the public order, which we will fulfill and not betray. The fight continues until the end,” said Kupradze.
For information, a protest rally will be held near the Georgian Parliament on June 29. Citizens will gather at the legislative body at 20:00.
Before that, at 7:00 PM, a protest march will be organized from Marjanishvili Square to Rustaveli Avenue.
