The leader of "Strategy Aghmashenebeli," Giorgi Vashadze, who is in detention, states that he does not intend to participate in a "farce."
Specifically, Giorgi Vashadze is responding to the June 30 session of the parliamentary investigative commission, where, according to the commission, in addition to Giorgi Vashadze, the participation of politicians Mamuka Khazaradze and Nika Gvaramia is also planned. Both have already refused in writing.
“Tsulukiani, who is even afraid to come to her own court, has summoned me again to the so-called commission. Let them hear clearly – I do not intend to participate in this farce, not now, not ever. Therefore, the fight will be with dignity and to the end!” Vashadze writes in a letter published on his Facebook page.
For reference, the leader of "Strategy Aghmashenebeli," Giorgi Vashadze, was found guilty by the court on June 24 for failing to comply with the parliamentary investigative commission’s summons. By the decision of Judge Nino Galustashvili, he was sentenced to 7 months of imprisonment and banned from holding public office for 2 years.
