A murder has occurred in Tbilisi. The suspect in the murder has been arrested. As stated in the information released by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, officers of the Tbilisi Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs arrested Z.M., born in 1963, on charges of premeditated murder.

The crime is punishable by up to 15 years of imprisonment.

"The investigation established that on June 29 of this year, the accused, on the basis of a mutual dispute, stabbed G.B., born in 1986, with a cold weapon in Tbilisi and fled the scene. The wounded G.B. died on the spot as a result of the injuries sustained.

As a result of the operational measures taken, law enforcement officers arrested Z.M. shortly after the incident.

The investigation is underway under Article 108 of the Criminal Code of Georgia, which implies premeditated murder," reads the information.
