"This [resolution] was yet another open and direct support for our country’s territorial integrity, but Georgian Dream did not support it. Why? Because the same resolution stated that democracy and free elections are necessary in Georgia," – said Paata Manjgaladze, one of the leaders of Strategy Aghmashenebeli, in response to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly's resolution regarding Georgia, which was not supported by the Georgian Dream delegation.
According to Paata Manjgaladze, the declaration adopted by the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly addressed Syria’s non-recognition of Georgia’s occupied territories — Tskhinvali and Abkhazia.
“How lame and primitive the government’s propaganda is. How can they even mention the OSCE resolution or make statements and reports on this issue when the fact is clear: the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly adopted a resolution urging Syria to recognize Tskhinvali and Abkhazia as part of Georgia.
This was another open and direct expression of support for our country’s territorial integrity. But Georgian Dream did not support it. Why? Because the same resolution stated that democracy and free elections are needed in Georgia.
This is how they traded the homeland for power and once again betrayed Georgia. Georgian Dream’s stance on the OSCE resolution shows what kind of patriots they are and how they actually understand patriotism,” – said Paata Manjgaladze.
