Silk Road Group has released a statement regarding the arrest of its founder, businessman Giorgi Ramishvili.
According to the statement, Giorgi Ramishvili was detained on July 6 at Tbilisi International Airport during border control, after a legally purchased and registered firearm, which he was authorized to possess, was found in his carry-on luggage.
“We urge all concerned parties to refrain from spreading unverified information, as the relevant legal procedures provided by law are currently underway,” reads the statement published by Silk Road Group on the social network Facebook.
