Irakli Gharibashvili arrived at the First University Clinic

Former Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Garibashvili, arrived at the First University Clinic, where the former Chairman of the Government of Adjara, Tornike Rizhvadze, has been transferred. He is at the clinic accompanied by his spouse.

This information was reported by “TV Pirveli.”

Before entering the clinic, the former Prime Minister did not make any comments to the media.

For reference, earlier this morning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that Tornike Rizhvadze was admitted to GeoHospitals in Sagarejo with a gunshot wound to the chest. According to the ministry, he received emergency medical treatment. Doctors explained that his lung is damaged and his condition remains critically stable. Later, Rizhvadze was transferred from Sagarejo to the First University Clinic in Tbilisi.

According to available information, Aleksi Akhvlediani has been detained as a suspect for negligent storage of a firearm in connection with Tornike Rizhvadze’s case.
