According to Lali Turdzeladze, the clinical director of the First University Clinic, Tornike Rizhvadze, the former chairman of the Adjara government, remains on mechanical ventilation, and his condition is stably critical.

She stated this to "Interpressnews."

"His condition is stable, it has not worsened. There is a rounds visit now, and then there will be examinations, after which Levan Ratiani will provide a comment. Yes, it is stably critical, he is on mechanical ventilation. His condition is stable," Turdzeladze said.

For reference, yesterday morning, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that Tornike Rizhvadze, the former chairman of the Adjara government, was admitted to "Geohospitals" in Sagarejo with a gunshot wound to the chest area. According to the agency, Rizhvadze received emergency medical assistance. Later, Rizhvadze was transferred from Sagarejo to the First University Clinic in Tbilisi. In connection with Tornike Rizhvadze’s case, Alexi Akhvelediani has been detained as a suspect for negligent storage of a firearm.
