The Deputy Director of the Special Tasks Department, Mileri Lagazauri, has resigned from his position.

As stated to "InterpressNews" by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he made the decision to resign himself.

For reference, shortly before this, Zviad Kharazishvili ("Khareba") also resigned from the position of Director of the Special Tasks Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. According to the Ministry, Kharazishvili was replaced in this role by Roman Kartsivadze.
