"I want this woman [Judge Nino Galustashvili] to be denied the privilege of spending her holidays in Italy. I want all officials of the pro-Russian regime to be banned from entering the European Union," said European Parliament member Krzysztof Brejza.

According to him, strict sanctions are needed to "remove those who are Russifying Georgia."

The MEP also noted that Viktor Orbán and representatives of "Alternative for Germany" want Georgia to be abandoned, addressing them with: "You are working for the Kremlin and Putin."

"Last month, I was on a mission in Georgia, and you cannot talk about Russian interference—this is a copying of the Russian system, the Russian regime. When I hear the voices of Viktor Orbán and 'Alternative for Germany' speaking here, who are supported by Putin and who want young Georgians to be left alone and abandoned to be handed over to Russia, it must be said clearly: 'You are working for the Kremlin and Putin'...

To the Georgians, I say: 'We are with you, we stand by your side, we see your struggle.' But we also see those who are destroying. We see regime officials like Judge Nino Galustashvili. She is a judge of the Georgian regime who sentenced a 21-year-old boy, Mate Devidze, to four and a half years in prison for organizing a pro-European demonstration. This is the reality in Georgia.
