The Tbilisi City Court found 19-year-old Saba Jikia, accused of attacking a police officer, guilty.

By the decision of Judge Tamar Mchedlishvili, Jikia was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment.

The judge explained that all parties involved should be aware of the basis for her decision. According to Mchedlishvili, the court made its ruling based on the evidence examined during the trial. She stated that the testimonies of witnesses questioned during the court session confirmed that the person who kicked the police officer was Saba Jikia.
