Anzor Kvaratskhelia, who was arrested on charges of attacking a police officer and throwing the so-called Molotov cocktail at police officers, has been found guilty by the court. By the decision of Judge Jvebe Nachkebia, he was sentenced to 4 years and 6 months in prison.

According to the judge, the verdict fully complies with the standards of the supreme court and it was not an easy case.

The defendant also exercised his right to the final word.

For information, Anzor Kvaratskhelia was charged under Part 1 of Article 353 of the Criminal Code, which refers to attacking a police officer.
