Boycott the Local “Elections” – under this slogan, a protest march will be held today, July 19, at 7:00 PM, from the first building of Tbilisi State University to the Parliament.

The organizers of the protest march include political parties boycotting the local elections, civil activists, students, and family members of individuals detained during recent rallies. The protest movement “300 Women” will also join the march.

The organizers state that they do not recognize the upcoming October 4 local elections and are demanding new, free parliamentary elections.

Additionally, it is reported that in parallel with the rally planned in Tbilisi on July 19, a gathering will also take place in Batumi, where participants will demand new elections and the release of those detained during protests.
