During the protest march toward Parliament, a confrontation occurred between rally participants and Russian-speaking individuals on Melikishvili Avenue.

According to those present at the march, the passersby, who were speaking Russian, asked about the reason for the ongoing protest. After hearing the explanation, they responded with insulting remarks directed at the protesters, which led to a verbal and physical altercation.

Police intervened in the confrontation. The situation was quickly defused, after which the protesters continued their march toward Parliament.
