"Let everyone kindly explain what they demand from us. Georgian Dream, together with our people, will never renounce family values and will never allow funds to flow into the country that would later be used to finance revolutions," said Archil Gorduladze, Chairman of the Parliament’s Legal Affairs Committee, in a statement to journalists.

According to him, maintaining sovereignty does not mean dancing to someone else’s tune.

Gorduladze stated that they want to bring the collective National Movement to power, which would perfectly live by dancing to someone else’s tune.

"They call it a soft term—‘recommendations.’ In reality, these are not recommendations but demands, which worked well, for example, for the ‘Bolsheviks.’ Something would be devised in Moscow, then those demands would arrive in Tbilisi, and those who didn’t comply would face tough times. The same attitude persists now. There’s no explanation or clarification—this isn’t even blackmail; it’s a direct attempt to punish those who don’t dance to someone else’s tune. In Georgia, the absolute majority, in the form of Georgian society, does not dance to someone else’s tune. We don’t dance to someone else’s tune, and we demand an explanation of what the problem is. We want independence, and maintaining sovereignty does not mean dancing to someone else’s tune. Let everyone kindly explain what they demand from us. Georgian Dream, together with our people, will never renounce family values and will never allow funds to flow into the country that would later be used to finance revolutions. Yes, fine, let them fund revolutions, but let them show the public that a revolution is being financed. They are trying to intimidate society. Visa liberalization is an achievement, and one earned by Georgian Dream based on merit, but they threaten to cancel it all because we won’t compromise on family values. Changes made for sovereignty, independence, the country’s dignity, and its future cannot be bought, no matter who demands it or who wants to give us orders," Gorduladze stated.
