The Tbilisi Court of Appeals has upheld, without changes, the guilty verdict against Beka Jaiani for the deliberate murder of Kesaria Abramidze committed with particular cruelty on the grounds of gender. This information was released by the Prosecutor's Office of Georgia.

According to the same source, evidence examined during the trial confirmed that on September 18, 2024, in Didi Dighomi, Tbilisi, the defendant, motivated by intolerance based on gender and gender identity, inflicted multiple stab wounds on Kesaria Abramidze with particular cruelty. As a result of the injuries sustained, the victim died at the scene.

"The evidence also confirmed that the defendant, driven by intolerance on the grounds of gender and gender identity, regularly abused Kesaria Abramidze, causing her physical and psychological suffering."
