Irakli Kupradze: Our comrade from Batumi was sent to prison for 20 days by the Russian-style regime solely because he told the "Georgian Dream" prosecutor what kind of evil she is serving

The General Secretary of the “Lelo” party, Irakli Kupradze, responded to the Batumi City Court’s decision to sentence their teammate Levan Khorava to 20 days of administrative detention.

As Kupradze wrote on his personal Facebook page, the court also revoked Khorava’s right to carry a weapon.

“Our comrade from Batumi was arrested by the Russian-style regime and sent to prison for 20 days solely because he told the ‘Georgian Dream’ prosecutor what kind of evil she is serving. Levan is a military veteran, and along with the 20-day detention, the judge also revoked his right to carry a weapon for three years,” Kupradze wrote.

For reference, demonstrator Levan Khorava was found guilty of an administrative offense by the Batumi City Court and sentenced to 20 days of administrative detention.
