As Saba Buadze noted, someone said that his statement left an ambiguity, "I can say for their sake that I have finished my political activities in Lelo.
"It was a really hard decision for me, since my political life began in Lelo before we even thought of the name of this political organization. I was involved in the process of creating Lelo from the very first days and my political family was there. My friends are still there today. Of course, it is very difficult to leave the party, but there are principles that you must follow when you oppose some decision. I believe that participation in the local elections will help the government move towards normalizing the situation, and based on this main argument, I opposed and continue to oppose participation in the local elections in this form, especially since the opposition has been divided. Even a united struggle would not work out, and I consider this a very big mistake. I had also told my friends - if we finally make this decision, I would not be able to continue participating in this decision and I would leave the party, and that is exactly what happened. I left the position of chairman of the Tbilisi organization, I left the political council, which in fact means leaving the party. Someone said it leaves room for ambiguity, so I can say for their sake that I have finished my political activities in Lelo, although, of course, I have not finished my political activities.
Regarding my decision, I can tell you that leaving these positions for me is leaving the party, I am simply not taking any new political steps for now as long as my friends are in prison," Buadze said.
