When we talk about a dignified woman, we must mention Nino Datashvili, who is being treated very unjustly by the system. If anyone owes an apology, it is the regime to the young people who have been condemned to death, stated journalist Nika Katsia, accused of a drug-related crime, in the courtroom before giving his testimony.
He also expressed solidarity with Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of “Batumelebi” and “Netgazeti.” As he noted, Mzia Amaghlobeli is exemplary in her actions.
“First and foremost, I want to express great solidarity with my colleague Mzia Amaghlobeli. Mzia Amaghlobeli is exemplary in her actions. When we talk about a dignified woman, we must mention Nino Datashvili, who is being treated very unjustly by the system.
If anyone owes an apology, it is the regime to the young people who have been condemned to death. The regime also owes an apology to each of the more than 60 prisoners, for the country’s devastation and for insulting so many people.
There are many voices demanding something from us. Once and for all—not only will I not apologize, but this truth will be even louder. Our voice will reach the cosmos,” Katsia stated.
For reference, Nika Katsia was charged under Article 260, Part 6 of the Criminal Code, which pertains to the illegal acquisition and possession of a large quantity of narcotic substances.
This crime carries a penalty of 8 to 20 years of imprisonment or life imprisonment. Nika Katsia was detained on December 7.
