Supporters of Mzia Amaghlobeli are marching through the streets of Batumi from the Batumi City Court. The protesters are expressing their opposition to the decision by Judge Nino Sakhelashvili, who sentenced Mzia Amaghlobeli to two years of imprisonment.

Chants can be heard such as: “False witness police officers” and “Freedom for Mzia.”

The demonstrators saw Mzia Amaghlobeli off from the courthouse with encouraging chants.

For reference, Batumi City Court Judge Nino Sakhelashvili sentenced Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of "Batumelebi," to two years in prison.

The judge reclassified the charges against her. Specifically, she was convicted under Article 353^1 of the Criminal Code, which refers to resistance, threats, or violence against a public order officer or another representative of the authorities.
