Czech Foreign Minister: Mzia Amaglobeli’s case reflects growing pressure on media and civil society in Georgia - Czech Republic calls for release of all unjustly prosecuted

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Jan Lipavsky, strongly condemns the “politicized” 2-year sentence of journalist Mzia Amaglobeli.

“I strongly condemn the politicized 2-year sentence of journalist Mzia Amaglobeli, whose health has worsened in detention. Her case reflects growing pressure on media and civil society in Georgia. Czechia stands in solidarity and calls for the release of all unjustly prosecuted”, he writes on X.
