State Security Service of Georgia: Representatives of the Russian occupation forces illegally detained a Georgian citizen near the village of Kveshi

Representatives of the Russian occupation forces illegally detained one Georgian citizen near the village of Kveshi in the Gori municipality, according to a statement released by the State Security Service of Georgia.

"Information about this latest incident of illegal detention has been immediately communicated to the co-chairs of the Geneva International Discussions and international partners.

All available mechanisms have been activated to secure the release of the illegally detained Georgian citizen as soon as possible.

The occupying power bears responsibility for all destructive actions committed in Georgia’s occupied territories, as well as along the occupation line," the statement reads.
