Davit Matikashvili: All the resources used by radicals, whether from within the country or from abroad, constitute a step against the state; As soon as a protest exceeds the boundaries of the law, the state will respond adequately

The state will be adequate, strict, and fair toward any manifestation that exceeds the boundaries of the law, stated Davit Matikashvili, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Procedural Issues and Rules.

Matikashvili was responding to information circulated about a training session allegedly taking place near the Kaprovani coast, "the theme of which is the change of government."

According to the deputy's assessment, such actions are directed against the state.

"They clearly will not achieve their goals. All the resources used by radicals, whether from within the country or from abroad, are naturally steps directed against the state. If any protest remains within the boundaries of the law, the country is democratic, and this is understandable. However, as soon as it exceeds the boundaries of the law, the state will be adequate, strict, and fair toward any such manifestation," Matikashvili stated.
