Ministry of Foreign Affairs: Maka Botchorishvili held a farewell meeting with the French Ambassador - hope was expressed that EU-Georgia relations would return to the usual agenda

Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Botchorishvili held a farewell meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Georgia, Sheraz Gasri.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting discussed the current agenda of cooperation between Georgia and the Republic of France, as well as the ongoing processes in the wider region. It was noted that active dialogue and exchange of views are important in order to overcome common threats and challenges.

According to them, among the issues to be discussed was the issue of Georgia's integration into the European Union. The importance of further cooperation in this process was emphasized and the hope was expressed that EU-Georgia relations would return to their usual agenda.

The Minister wished the Ambassador success in her future activities.
