The freezing of bank accounts of 7 more civil society organizations is yet another step in the dismantling of democracy in Georgia, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says.

In a statement, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry calls the move a "severe blow."

“The freezing of bank accounts of 7 more civil society organizations is yet another step in the dismantling of democracy in Georgia and a severe blow to all citizens benefitting from the important work performed by these CSOs”, reads the statement.
