According to her, Vladimir Putin can only be contained by strong means.

"We know from experience that he can only be contained by strong means of deterrence, and that is why we must be coordinated, precise and swift in strengthening our defense position in the European Union, and in particular on the front lines. That is why in the coming weeks we will prepare a roadmap on how to invest additional defense funds in our defense posture in Europe," - the President of the European Commission noted.
