Protesters near parliament try to block road, police set up cordon

Those gathered near the parliament tried to block Rustaveli Avenue.

After the protesters blocked the road in front of the parliament, the police moved them to the pedestrian area directly adjacent to the parliament.

At the moment, the police are mobilized near the parliament, they have set up a human cordon to prevent the protesters from blocking the road.

In turn, the protesters are chanting: “Russians, Russians!”

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of people detained at the protest rally on Rustaveli Avenue today has increased to 20. All of them are detained under administrative law.
