Civil activist Albi Kordzaia was sentenced to 12 days of administrative detention

Civil activist Albi Kordzaia was sentenced to 12 days of administrative detention, the activist wrote on social media.

“I was sentenced to 12 days. With this acute stomach of mine, I will probably end up back in the hospital from the detention center soon. I’m off to pack,” Kordzaia wrote.

For reference, Kordzaia was arrested on September 2 at a protest rally. She was accused of violating Articles 166 and 173 of the Administrative Offenses Code, which involve resisting the police and minor hooliganism. On September 2, a total of 23 people were arrested under these articles.
