Protesters moving from Kakha Kaladze’s election headquarters to Rustaveli Avenue

The protesters, who were gathered at Kakha Kaladze’s election headquarters on Melikishvili Avenue, are marching towards Rustaveli Avenue.

The situation between the protesters and law enforcement officers gets periodically tense. Protesters are accompanied by police, who are urging them to move to the sidewalk.

Several protesters were injured during the physical confrontation that occurred near Kakha Kaladze’s election headquarters. According to the protesters, they were physically assaulted by representatives of the Georgian Dream youth wing on Melikishvili Avenue. According to them, the confrontation began after they arrived at Kakha Kaladze’s election headquarters and started shouting.

According to them, the police were not at the scene at first and they arrived only after the physical confrontation.
